2. These Terms
2.1 These Terms govern the sale of all products listed on www.engidox.com to you, the customer (‘you’, ‘your’).
2.2 If you are purchasing on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
2.3 We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The version in force at the time of your order will apply to that order.
3. Orders & Contract Formation
3.1 By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase the product(s) listed. No contract exists until we send you an order confirmation email.
3.2 We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, for example where a product is out of stock, where a pricing error has occurred, or where we suspect fraudulent activity.
3.3 If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will issue a full refund within 7 business days.
3.4 It is your responsibility to ensure that specifications, dimensions, pressure ranges, temperature ranges, and connection types are correct and suitable for your intended application before placing an order. 4. Pricing & Payment
4.1 All prices on our website are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT at the applicable UK rate will be added at checkout.
4.2 We accept payment by major credit and debit card. Payment is taken at the time of order.
4.3 We take reasonable care to ensure prices are accurate. If we discover a pricing error on your order, we will contact you before processing. You may then choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
4.4 Prices are subject to change without notice. The price at the time you place your order is the price you will pay.
5. Delivery
5.1 Full details of our delivery options, lead times, and costs are set out in our Delivery Information page on the website.
5.2 We aim to despatch in-stock items within 2 business days. Items sourced to order may have longer lead times, which will be communicated at the time of ordering.
5.3 Delivery timescales provided are estimates only. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
5.4 Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. Title passes to you only once full payment has been received.
5.5 It is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the delivery. If a delivery attempt fails and the parcel is returned to us, you may be liable for re-delivery charges.
5.6 Please inspect goods upon delivery. Any visible damage to packaging should be noted with the courier at the time of receipt and reported to us within 48 hours.
6. Returns & Refunds
6.1 If you are a consumer (purchasing for personal use, not business use), you have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, notify us at info@engidox.com within the 14-day window.
6.2 Goods must be returned unused, in their original condition and packaging, within 14 days of your cancellation notice. Return postage costs are your responsibility unless the goods are faulty.
6.3 If you are purchasing as a business, returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused, undamaged products in original packaging, subject to a restocking assessment. Custom or specially ordered items are non-returnable.
6.4 Refunds will be processed within 7 business days of receiving the returned goods and confirming their condition, to the original payment method.
6.5 Items that have been installed, modified, or used in a way that renders them unsaleable are not eligible for return.

7. Faulty or Incorrect Goods
7.1 All products are sold with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery, unless otherwise stated on the product page.
7.2 This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, operation outside specified limits, or normal wear and tear.
7.3 If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@engidox.com. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return postage.
7.4 Our warranty does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
8. Product Information & Technical Specifications
8.1 We take care to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, and images on our website are accurate. However, minor differences may exist between product images and the actual product delivered.
8.2 Datasheets are provided as reference documents. It is the installer’s responsibility to verify that the product is suitable for the intended application, including compatibility with media, pressure, temperature, and regulatory requirements.
8.3 For safety-critical applications — including but not limited to pressure containment, functional safety (SIL), and hazardous areas (ATEX) — customers are responsible for carrying out appropriate engineering assessment and ensuring products meet all applicable standards and regulations.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9.2 Subject to clause 9.1, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with any order shall not exceed the price paid for the goods in that order.
9.3 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, loss of production, or damage arising from incorrect specification or installation of products.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on www.engidox.com, including text, images, logos, product descriptions, and datasheets, is the property of Engidox Industrial Sensors or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written consent.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
